"Deadlines can feel a bit tight"
Well... overall it’s been okay, but I do wish there was a little more flexibility with deadlines. Sometimes they feel kind of strict, and having a bit more wiggle room would make things less stressful

"The course itself might be fine, but the..."
The course itself might be fine, but the website is such a pain. Pages load slowly, the videos keep freezing, and finding assignments is way more confusing than it should be. I feel like I spent more time clicking aroudn trying to figure things out than actually learning anything.

"Did anyone else feel like this wasn’t worth it?"
I really wanted to like this course, but i came away disappointed. A lot of the lessons felt kind of basic and not that engaging, and for the price, I expected to learn a lot more. Support also took a while to respond, which made the whole experience more frustrating. Maybe I had different expectations, but it just didn’t feel like a good learning experience to me
"Pretty rough on my phone"
I tried using getsmarter.com on my phone, and maybe I’m only remembering the annoying parts, but it really wasn’t a smooth experience. Some pages loaded in a weird way, and I remember a few buttons being so tiny or pushed off to the side that I had to keep fiddling with the screen.
The course pages were the part that stuck with me most. When I scrolled, things seemed to jump around, and logging in felt more frustrating than it should have. I had to zoom in and out just to read basic stuff, which got old fast.
I don’t remember every little issue now, but I do remember giving up and waiting until I had my laptop. For something people might want to use while traveling or during a quick break, the mobile version just didn’t feel very usable.

"Useful course, but the workload was a lot"
I did this getsmarter course it was decent, but the workload got frustrating. I expected it to be busy, but some weeks felt really packed, like there just wasn’t enough time to get through all the readings and still do the assignments properly. The material itself was helpful, so it’s not like the course was bad, but the pacing could definitely be better. If you’re working full time, be prepared to lose a lot of evenings to it.

"Good course, but the assessments need clearer guidance"
Overall, the course was decent and I did get something out of it, but I found the assessments a bit confusing at times. If you’re taking it, I’d suggest reading the instructions really carefully and maybe checking in with others to make sure you’re interpreting things the same way. A few more examples from the course team would make a big difference, and the feedback could be more practical so you actually know what to improve next time

"Refund process was really frustrating"
I asked for a refund and it felt like nobody really wanted to help. I kept checking my emails and receipts to make sure I had everything in order, but I still got passed from one person to another and had to wait days for replies. When they did respond, the answers were vague, so I ended up chasing them just to find out what was happening. I’m not saying the course itself is bad, but the refund process was a mess. I wouldn’t use GetSmarter again

"Helpful in spots, but a bit hit-or-miss"
I did pick up a few things I could actually use at work, which was nice. But compared to other training I’ve done, some of the lessons felt broad and not quite practical enough for real day-to-day situations

"Was hoping it would lead somewhere, but it didn’t"
I signed up for a course through getsmarter because I was trying to spot the right next step in my career, and at the time it seemed like it might fit the pattern of what people do to move into better roles.
Once I got into it, though, the material felt broad. I kept comparing it to job descriptions I was seeing, and I couldn’t really connect the dots between the coursework and the actual skills employers seemed to want. I did finish it, but I didn’t come away feeling more prepared or that much more confident putting it on my CV.
Maybe it lines up better for other people, but for me it didn’t really translate into career momentum. Looking back, I wish I’d spent the money on something more hands-on or directly tied to the kind of jobs I was aiming for.

"I had a really rough experience with..."
I had a really rough experience with the site. Pages kept freezing, videos either wouldn’t load or would stop halfway through, and I got logged out multiple times while trying to finish my coursework. It always seemed to happen right when I was actually trying to get something done, which made it even more annoying.
Support took a while to respond, and when they did, it was mostly just “try again later,” which didn’t really help. For an online course, the platform needs to be reliable. after losing time and dealing with all these issues, I’d expect some kind of credit, refund, or compensation.
"Certificate didn’t really help me"
I signed up for the course mainly because I thought the certificate would be useful, but it ended up not being recognized where I actually needed it. So after paying for it and putting in the time, I was frustrated, to put it politely.
I reached out to support, but the replies felt very generic and didn’t really clear anything up. I still don’t know what the certificate is supposed to be worth, and because of that, I wouldn’t use GetSmarter again.

"Poor reading material and I don’t really trust the course now"
The reading material was a big letdown. A lot of it felt super basic, badly organized, and not really worth what I paid. Some sections were confusing and didn’t explain things clearly, so I kept feeling like I was just reading someone’s random notes instead of actual course content. I expected a lot more from an online course, and after this, I’ve kind of lost trust in the quality of the whole thing...

"Support felt a bit slow to me"
Maybe it’s just me, but the support response felt a little slow. They did reply eventually, just later than I was hoping

"Pricing felt harder to find than it should"
I was looking at a course on getsmarter.com once I started trying to figure out the price, that was all I could focus on. I probably skimmed past some of the course details because I kept getting stuck on what I’d actually have to pay. It felt like I had to click around more than necessary just to get a clear answer.
For a course that costs that much, I’d really expect the pricing to be upfront and easy to understand. The course itself might be great, but the way the cost was presented made me second-guess the whole thing. It just didn’t leave the best impression.

"The feedback never really helped"
The tutor feedback was pretty much useless. It usually came in late, and when it did show up, it was super vague, like the same copy-paste comments everyone probably gets. Most weeks it didn’t give me anything clear to work on, so I don’t feel like it helped me improve at all...

"Felt rushed and no one really took responsibility"
The course just felt way too rushed for me. Every week had so much packed in that I felt like I was constantly trying to catch up, even when I was putting in the effort. There wasn’t really enough time to actually understand the material properly before moving on to the next thing. What made it more frustrating was that when issues came up, it felt like nobody really took ownership or gave a clear answer. Overall, it ended up being more stressful than helpful

"The time estimates were mostly okay"
I mean, the timelines were close for the most part, but a few weeks did end up taking longer than they originally said. Not a huge deal, I guess, but it was something I noticed.

"Signing up was straightforward, so I’ll give credit..."
Signing up was straightforward, so I’ll give credit where it’s due. The only thing is that a few of the onboarding steps felt a bit vague, and I had to go back and reread parts to make sure I was doing it right. Not a huge issue, but a little more clarity would make the whole experience feel smoother.

"Payment went through, but I felt unsure after"
The payment itself went through okay, but it took a bit longer than I expected. After I paid, I wasn’t totally sure what was happening next, which made me feel a little uneasy and not fully confident.

"The student success team did help me..."
The student success team did help me out when I had questions about the course, so I appreciated that. A few replies took longer than I was hoping though, and sometimes it felt a bit like they were just sending the same kind of answer back. I still got through everything fine, but when it got busy, I kind of wish they had checked in more. It wasn’t bad, just average for me
